Before & After 1958 chest of drawers

We love coming across vintage real wood treasures that have lost their sass due to wear and neglect.  This beauty had wire tied where the handles should had been and the top was mangled from wear and tear. We did not find a maker’s mark but we did find a stamp dated January 1958 on the bottom of one of the drawers.  This is all wood, tongue and groove drawers and lovely as can be now that it has been revamped by one of our local artists.  Sanded down and revamped with a lovely custom color of barely blue hand made chalk paint and then sealed with several coats of matte sealant.  Vintage handles are the original handles that we were lucky to find inside the chest of drawers.

Before and After demi loon mint julep table.

We love before and afters.  This before and after is of a demi loon mahogany table.  It has its blemishes and has been very loved.  Reworked by first sanding, then two coats of primer due to the deepness of the color of the original wood.  Then six coats of a custom blend which becomes just slight of a true mint color.  Then we hand distressed the table, and then topped off with three coats of a clear protective finish.
